In the church
Food Pantry: Our
food pantry is open on Fridays from 9am to 4pm and could always
use volunteers. Please contact the church office at 616-842-5060
if you are interested.
Calling all you for service: How would you like
to spend some of your summer vacation helping families in the Tri-Cities
area? A great service opportunity is available to you right here
at the Spring Lake Presbyterian Church. We are asking our youth
to volunteer in the pantry. Duties include picking up food at Love,
INC, stocking the shelves in our pantry, interviewing our clients,
gathering and bagging groceries. The shifts are Monday afternoons
or Friday morning/afternoon. Please call Brenda Benes to sign up.
Nursery volunteers: The nursery
could use volunteers during both services. If you are
interested, please talk to Debbie Buxton or Maryann Fonkert or
call the church office at 616-842-5060.
Ushers: If you're interested
in joining an ushering team, please contact Hans Podhel or call
the church office at 616-842-5060.
 Coffee Set up: We can always
use volunteers to help set up the coffee downstairs for our continental
breakfast between services. If you are interested, there is a
sign-up sheet in the Narthex underneath the flower calendar.
Coffee Clean up: Volunteers are
needed to help clean up after the continental breakfast. If you
are interested, there is a sign up sheet in the Narthex underneath
the flower calendar.
Choir: Interested in singing
in our choir, playing an instrument, or being apart of the bell
choir? If so, we would love to have you. Please talk to Terry Plews,
our music director, or contact the church office at 616-842-5060.
