Young or old, anyone interested in "Making a Joyful Noise to the Lord" can find a way to participate. Meeting dates and times are listed below:
Adult Choir – Under the direction of Ricardo Laranja, rehearsals are held every Sunday between the services in the Choir Room. The choir sings every Sunday from September through the beginning of June, alternating services. Performances are the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays at first service, and the 2nd and 4th Sundays at second service. The choir also performs at various evening services throughout the year such as Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve and Maundy Thursday. The adult choir always welcomes more voices. You don’t have to be able to read music to join. Ricardo has even come up with a way to e-mail parts so you can practice in the privacy of your own home and at your own convenience. Choir members are not required to be at every service. Come give choir a try this Sunday!
Children’s Choir – Under the direction of Nancy Dillingham, children’s choir meets every Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m. in the choir room. This choir performs during worship services at various times throughout the year and at the Children’s Christmas Eve Service at 7:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
Bell Choir – If singing isn’t your thing, give the Bell Choir a try. The only requirement is you need to be able to count to 4! Bell Choir rehearses every Sunday at noon in the sanctuary and performs at various times throughout the year.
Instrumentalists – Dust off your trombone (or flute, violin, etc.) and come join the instrumentalists! No matter what instrument you play, we’ll have the music for it! Practice times and performances are scheduled as needed throughout the year. Please contact the church office for more information at 616-842-5060.
