Sunday Worship 9:00 & 10:30 AM

Gareth Asher and Nicki Thrailkill, "INK and ASH" will be performing a Hurricane Benefit Concert Friday, September 22 at 7:00 PM at the church! A Free Will Offering will be collected with all profits going to support Hurricane Disaster Relief. From the Artists: Ink + Ash "In this life, we spend our days in blissful ignorance as to what lies ahead. We work, we play, we dream, we live. In this chain of every days, there is sometimes a beginning, like any other, that is fated to hold within it a moment forever life altering, and sometimes life feeding. March 18th, 2011 was the day Nicki Thrailkill and Gareth Asher’s worlds collided. Two souls met under a full moon’s sky, on the same patch of earth, in the same blink in time. Two souls – discovering in each other someone to keep safe and sound throughout this adventure of living. On the second day, they wrote about it; breathing into existence the musical manifestation of love and wonder; pouring from their hearts to yours the magic that lies deep beneath the skin and bones of us all, waiting to be released. This music is like a raw, uncut stone with hidden magic. Hold it in your hands, your hearts, your souls. Feel the vibration and be healed."

What We Believe:

We are a member of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) which means that we respect a breadth of perspectives under the umbrella of the Christian Faith.

We refer to ourselves as “Progressive” and “Christ Centric;” which is to say that we attempt to follow the example of Jesus as we welcome people from all walks of life, regardless of sexuality or race (or other issues that seem to separate us) into our faith community.

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God through which we seek guidance and direction; recognizing that it has also been used as a justification by sinful people to harm others.

We seek in the church, through worship, study, dialog and contemplation to mature in our faith and to be the people God is calling us to be in the world. We do not claim to be perfect and we acknowledge this is our lifelong struggle.

We do not seek to be political but we attempt to hold up a desire for justice, mercy and humility in a world where Jesus calls us to live out these principles.
